Here we go!
The preparations for Bath Fringe 2017 have started, but there’s plenty of time to get your ideas to us, or chat and develop them some more.
Worried about deadlines? They’re all here. The first important ones are in March.
There is a page on this website that contains the basics, here, and then there are a couple of google documents with many more details, linked below, to which we do commend your attention. Anything very much more complicated, EMail us! – admin[at]bathfringe.co.ukInfo for artists
Info for venues
Fringe Arts Bath – the visual arts event – has its own application process. More details on www.fringeartsbath.co.uk/
More importantly for now, the programme application process is open for those of you who have a show and a venue (or even if some bits of that are still pending). This is what you need to know.
For new users:
To set up an account to let you submit and edit your event(s) please go to www.alphaworks.co.uk/fringe/admin/ and click on “Create new account”. This will let you set up a new account which can be used for this year’s fringe and for future years too.
For existing users:
As part of this year’s improvements, existing users’ passwords have been reset. To set a new password, existing users should go to www.alphaworks.co.uk/fringe/admin/ and click “Forgotten password?” where you can then enter your email address to trigger the process to set a new password. If you’ve never logged in to your existing account then this may not work. In this case, please contact geoff[at]bathfringe.co.uk and we’ll sort out your account. If you can’t remember if you already have a user profile, please try a password reset first and then contact us if that doesn’t work.
When you have submitted the entry you will be able to get back and add or amend the listing if necessary by using your account, until the application process is closed. Bath Fringe however reserves the right to edit all copy as necessary to fit printed material. This information will go onto our web-site and will also appear in the Fringe programme. When the final draft is ready we should be able to let you have a look at what the finished web version will look like for any comments, before we go to press. In the mean time, I’ll be happy to deal with any queries you may have.
The deadline for entries is Mon 13th March, with the option for posting changes till 20th March. This gives us a couple of weeks to get the web-site together – this should go live in early April and the printed brochure should be on the streets later in the month.
