Over the years there has been a steady supply of swanky nightspots in Bath – we know, we’ve been refused entry to most of them – and some of the modern crop are indeed quite cool places, we’ll admit. But we reckon we run the coolest and most exclusive club in Bath. And we’re inviting YOU.
How can it be so exclusive if we’re so free with our invitations? – you might ask.
Well: What other club is only open 10 days a year? That’s pretty exclusive. What other club is specially imported just for us from the family of craftspeople in Belgium that builds it? What other club is solid Art Deco? What other shows you your reflection a dozen times a glance? And where else does the management book only the not-seen-in-Bath acts that the regular year-round operations don’t dare to?
Yes, Ladies & Gentlemen, it’s The Spiegeltent – and it’s back again.
And if you don’t know what a Spiegeltent is, well, where have you been for the last 10 years? - and, well, come down and find out. We think you’ll be impressed. We've had them for over a decade and we still are!
SpiegelGarden Bar open every afternoon & evening, come and hang out when it’s sunny. Free music in the bar every evening 6-8pm (we'll list the details on this site under 'Spiegelgarden' when we know them)). Good ale & wine, coffee, tea, soft drinks, cocktails: we keep it changing to keep ourselves interested, no need to do the same old thing when there’s only 10 days to enjoy.
SpiegelGarden Restaurant open every day and on into the evening, with good and varied hot meals and snacks, cakes and savoury treats, to suit all pockets and appetites.
And inside… We have our hand-picked classic selection of acts we expect will be new to you – with the occasional surprise legend – but that we’re confident you will soon be loving as much as we do. From Funk to Folk, R’n’B to Reggae, Chamber Music to Cabaret, Beatbox Afro to Surrealist Jazz. From us to you. Happy festival!
