Online Booking
The BOOK NOW link in the listings on this site sends you to online booking pages. Some events in the Fringe programme have alternative booking arrangements, including our events at The Spiegeltent. We instituted this to give you a choice in how you buy and pay for your (virtual) tickets.
To buy an online ticket via the Festivals Box Office costs £2 per transaction + £1.50 transaction fee. www.seetickets.com, who we have adopted as an alternative, charge 10% booking fee, online and on the phone at 0870 264 3333. Note that seetickets won't send you a physical ticket, but a code, and you'll need to bring the card you paid with, as well as some form of ID, to the ticket office at the Spiegeltent.
Those of you who can do sums will work out that if you’re buying lots of tickets at once, the Bath Festivals Box Office is cheaper, but if you’re only buying a couple, seetickets.com will charge you less. Meaning you can buy more Fringe tickets, of course. If you want to buy tickets online from the Festivals Box Office and you’ve been redirected to seetickets, the link above will take you to an index for the Festivals Box Office online.
If you have questions, complex combinations of bookings, want tickets for events not run by the Fringe committee, or would like decent personal service, the Bath Festivals Box Office is obviously still the place to go.
NB. we don't run these services ourselves, so we probably can't help with any problems with them - try the Box Office or online booking service as appropriate.

Otherwise
Some venues and events also run their own ticketing arrangements - when we know about it we’ve put it in the programme - and for some others payment is only on the door. Plenty of Fringe events are free, of course!

Most venues will have tickets on sale on the night - when we know an event has sold out we'll indicate that in Stop Press on the main page of this site.
