Ralph's Pick Of The Fringe

Natural Theatre Supremo, Fringe Veteran and current President of Widcombe Social Club (it says here) gives his unbiased opinion of some of the best of this year’s Fringe.

Ralph says: "I've tried to pick things that epitomise the fringiness of the Fringe, quirky, funny and odd, just like a fringe should be. As well as plugging my mates' events, naturally!"

Kilter Theatre 'Passenger' 19.15 29th May Green Park Station
Kilter's site-specific productions are riveting, delightful and full of well-researched detail. They've brought unforgettable theatre to a graveyard, the Bristol-Bath bike track and last year's highly praised animation of a Vicky Park allotment. This year they tackle the daunting and haunting spaces of Green Park Station.

The Alternative Fashion Show: 19.30 1st June Gascoyne Place
Always a fab fringe feature…fight to get a ticket.

No Fit State Circus: From Weds 2nd June: Flying Saucer Stage, Victoria Park
All the good things about alternative circus and no crappy clowns. Stunning!

Babyhead and The Mandibles: 20.00: 2nd June: Spiegeltent, Bath Rec
There's lots of great music from all over the world in this most beautiful of venues this year, but these top class acts are from round here and much admired by one and all!

Walcot Arts Trail: from 10am on 5th June
There's no TWWAT (The White Wine Arts Trail) this year, but for a couple of days Walcot will be full of art, anti-art, non-art, fine-art and farty-art.

Wiffle:
Wiffle is the literature-leaning side of the Fringe. As usual, no details until after it happens. Be there or for ever wonder what you missed.
