Museum of Bath at Work Presents
Some People
(1962)
‘Bored young rebels, living for kicks’ so reads the description of this early 1960s musical made and filmed in Bristol. With a swathe of British character actors – David Hemmings, Angela Douglas, Harry H Corbett and Kenneth More (that’s what I said) all attempting Bristolian accents. See teenagers fall off motorbikes in the Clifton Gorge and complain about missing a bus at the Hippodrome. Has to be seen to be believed. Introduced by Museum Director Stuart Burroughs.
