    Brain Rot

Dr Imogen Blake has agreed to all her lectures being delivered by a photo-real, voice-cloned avatar of herself. On one condition: she gets one last lecture herself. IRL. This is an alarming & often hilarious future vision of the lecture theatre. Performed by one actor in an evolving dialogue with her autonomous digital-twin.

"It's funny ‘til it's not" Audience Member, March 2026.

This performance will be specifically adapted for a traditional lecture theatre on Bath Spa University's Sion Hill Campus. The audience are students invited to interact digitally & organically as the action unfolds.

Who do you think is better? Avatars or Humans?

Produced & developed by Kilter Theatre in close iterative collaboration with the Cyber Security Researchers at Universities of Bath & Bristol with funding from EPSRC.
