    PLUS: Bambi

Bath’s own spoken wordsmith legend. Bambi is a young working-class single mother, and no stranger to estrangement, her work draws on themes from poverty to parenthood; weaving her woes into witty words and morbid merriments. Drawing on her own experiences and the stories of those she has met along the way, Bambi finds her healing in adopting a playfulness in pain, and satirically subjecting the systems, and sufferings, that surround her.
