    Stevie Parker

My Birthday Production, in conjunction with Darth Vader Felt My, Presents

Expect something old, something new, something borrowed, nothing (ish) blue. AND NOT ONLY THAT a WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT of 1001 Jokes (in Order) in 55 minutes will be Attempted at Each Show. This is a Work in Progress and not a Contractual Binding Legal Commitment that it will be achieved on the night.

1001 in binary is 9. So that’s just 9 jokes!!! But fear not, my attempt will be non binary!! So, will hope to get to 28 jokes (Base 3 at least!!!).

This event has never been reviewed by anyone (except for the Mrs who said it was Rubbish!!!), so you could be the first and who knows also witness the premiere of the successful World Record Attempt.

I’ve been telling stories and ‘Dad’ Jokes ever since I can remember. In fact, ever since Dad jokes were just Toddler jokes. Now, however, my jokes are 'Full Groan' and my stories are too. I will reference my childhood and memory constantly throughout the Show. Coincidentally, my first ever memory was being dragged to the optician by my dad, everything before that was a blur!!

I started out for real after going down proper with the ‘Comedy bug’ a couple of years ago. I did open Mics wherever I could and often did slots at Music sessions just to gain experience and time on stage. These can be the most difficult ones of all when a blank face looks up at you from the front row thinking... ’this isn’t music”!! I often refer this experience to like running with weights on but helped immensely in my development.

Since then, I have 2 Open Mic (Comedy Only) Nights in Leeds that have been going for well over a year. I thought it was time to thrust myself without fear into other parts of the Country. And what a place to kick off with.
