    Speaking Of Witch

17th Century England was a dangerous time to be alive, with accusations of sorcery in every ear and Witchfinders knocking at every door. One such Witchfinder is young Thomas Braddock, who so far, has discovered a total of zero witches. With the royal birthday fast approaching, Witchfinder General, Matthew Hopkins, has promised the King the ashes of the last witch in the country, and Thomas must prove himself by finding her, or it'll be him at the stake. With the help of his staff, Isaac and Catherine, he must search under every rock, behind every tree, and over every hill to find the last witch in England. Surely an impossible task, it's not like she'll just come knocking at the door, right? And even if she did, he couldn’t just hand her over...could he?

Forget all you know about history, facts and the truth; in collaboration with Bath Fringe 2024 and The Mission Theatre, BLADUD Productions offers a comedy that brings light and laughter to the very darkest corners of the 1600s, and shows that, in a world of suspicion, sorcery and secrets, maybe we all just need to cheer up a bit.
