The Bath Fringe is a festival of all the arts, with few rules as to what should be in or out – it’s what people want to do, and what venues in Bath want to put on. It all happens for 2 long weeks & 3 weekends (17 days or thereabouts) in early summer, in the beautiful city of Bath.
And that as they say is that!
It’s been the weirdest couple of weeks of Not The Bath Fringe Festival ever. Thank you to everyone who has engaged with us, liked content, commented on it or shared it. To artists past and present who have allowed us to share their work. To the Bath Arts Workshop History Project for sharing photos from their archives. To everyone who has supported our friends at Fringe Arts Bath and the incredible online work they’ve been doing.
We have pledged to continue to support any artists who were due to perform with us throughout the year and will continue to share their info with you.
We are also still hopeful of being able to stage some form of Bedlam Fair at some point this year. We’ll keep you posted of that as and when we know more ourselves.
For now please stay safe out there and if you’re able to please donate to some of the fabulous local arts organisations who are fighting to survive this pandemic. They really do need all of our help right now!
Thank you again and hopefully see you all soon!
We’ve been busy trawling through our archives, photo collections and online channels and we’ll be bringing you some of the highlights of Bath Fringe Festivals zany history.
